Teresa Fornataro is a multi-disciplinary artist, exploring her personal journey of adulthood through play and experimentation. She has recently gravitated to Naarm, from Meanjin, in an attempt to put her experimentations of adulting to the test. Whether it’s a low-fi video work of Fornataro peddling on a bike that goes nowhere, in front of a bed sheet, or a vibrant digital collage of strange creatures and textures, Fornataro is connecting to her inner child to create honest and raw work, which is terrifying to share with anyone, especially the critical adult, Teresa.
